Rooms were clean and roomy. Hotel was quiet. That was very nice. Front desk staff folks were excellent. Helpful and nice.

The location was convenient for what I needed to accomplish while visiting - right off the highway and minutes from downtown Cortland NY. Ample parking, upgraded rooms, and seemingly clean.

As part of a visit to the USA, we booked Motel 6 based on reviews that said the staff were good, the rooms clean, and the building somewhat old-fashioned - as we wanted a motel stay something like motels in older TV shows & movies. Having a railroad nearby was a bonus!

The bathroom was clean but crowded.the mattress was comfortable. The woman that checked us in was pleasant and helpful when our tv wasnt working.

They have smoking rooms!! This made my stay much more comfortable and they seem to be one of few hotels in the Cortland area that offer this option. Easy access to NY-11 and I-81, plenty of parking, indoor entry doors for all the rooms, DirecTV with lots of channels, windows with screens that you can actually open. Only a couple miles from the CNY living history museum, Main Street in Cortland (under construction currently in 2023) and Homer, where the annual Brockway truck show is held.
